We know we’re not an island.
That’s why giving back to our community is so important to us. These are the organizations/initiatives that Jules’ is proud to support.
Anna Marie’s provides resources and a safe place to stay to local women and families experiencing domestic violence. We’re honored to support the shelter through initiatives like Tending for a Cause – Anna Marie’s Pet Safe Home and our annual Lift Up the Ladies Bra Drive, which insired people to donate over 1,200 bras in 2019.
Pathways 4 Youth, a partnership project of the St. Cloud area Rotary Clubs, provides youth experiencing homelessness with access to resources that can put them back on a path where they can grow as individuals and be contributing members of our community. (Our owner is a member of the Downtown St. Cloud Rotary.) We regularly provide evening meals for Pathways volunteers and youth. We also provided delightfully different eats — sliders, deviled eggs and ice cream floats — at this year’s Sock Hop fundraiser, presented by St. Cloud Rotaract.
During the holiday season, hundreds of community members, participating local businesses, churches and colleges work together to raise 100,000 diapers for families and children in need. We support this effort by catering various campaign events and by actively encouraging donations. In 2018, with the help of our guests and friends, we collected more than 16,000 diapers at Jules’ Bistro.
It may seem an unlikely partnership, but we sponsor the SCSU Athletic Department because athletes generally pursue continous improvement and possess a drive for excellence, which is how we approach team culture and performance at Jules’. Athletes also care about what goes into their bodies, a value that aligns with our desire to create the highest-quality food. As a result of our sponsorship, many SCSU athletes fuel up at Jules’, including the men’s hockey team, which chowed down here before many Saturday home games this past year.
St. Cloud Shines is an initiative that highlights all the meaningful—and sometimes overlooked— stories that make our region shine. Stories of entrepreneurship, volunteering and weekends spent outside. Stories of career development, downtown revitalization and exciting cultural activities. We’re featured from time to time, and many of our friends and colleagues are too.
