James embraced the spotlight at a young age. When he was 10, he placed in his first singing competition in Urdaneta City, his hometown in the Philippines. He then went on to compete on Season One of Philippines Got Talent.

After he and his family immigrated to St. Cloud in 2013, James kept pursuing his passion. He’s serenaded crowds at Twins, Timberwolves and Lynx games, and at local events like Summertime by George and the annual 9/11 Ceremony.
